Team is a workspace, not a renamed personal plan. A decision saved from one person’s AI can inform the next person’s work. The group shares ownership, capacity and a single bill, while each Board’s permissions decide who can see it.

Stored data includes saved context and attachments. The memory count and storage allowance both apply. Audit history is the record of account activity; it is not content-version recovery or the lifespan of your saved memories. Your connected AI subscriptions are separate.

Are these plans available now?
These are our planned public-launch plans. Index is currently invitation-only and new subscriptions to this catalog are not open. Existing beta accounts keep their current terms; sign in to Account to review your current plan.
How are Max and Team different?
Max gives one person more space and a larger monthly allowance, with occasional collaboration on shared Boards. Team puts five people in one workspace: shared ownership, member management, one payer and a pooled allowance. A shared Board brings context from everyone’s connected AI tools into the same project.
What does a memory update mean?
Saving a new memory or changing an existing one uses one update. Reading a memory does not. Connector requests cover calls made by your connected tools, including reads and writes. Both allowances reset monthly; saved-memory and storage limits describe how much your account can hold at once.
Are ChatGPT, Claude or other AI subscriptions included?
No. Your connected AI subscriptions and provider charges remain separate. These plans cover Index’s memory and connection features. Volt availability during the beta is not an unlimited hosted-chat allowance.
What happens if I reach a limit?
The launch plans are designed to pause new writes or requests at their allowance, with no automatic overage charges. Saved context stays in place and remains readable and exportable inside Index, even if your connector request allowance is used up. You can wait for the monthly reset, make room within the storage limit, or choose a larger plan. Existing beta accounts continue to follow their current limits.
How does Team membership work?
The fixed Team price includes five unique people in one workspace, including its owner. Joining several Boards does not count someone multiple times. Personal Board content stays separate from shared Boards; pooled capacity does not grant access to another person’s private context. Larger groups can discuss Enterprise.
What about annual billing or an existing subscription?
The launch catalog is monthly, in USD, before any applicable tax. Annual offers are not part of this catalog. Existing subscriptions are managed from Account, where you can review changes or cancel before confirming them.
